Director of Childrens and Outreach MinistryI became a Christian when I was a very young girl. I was born into a home where my one parent was a believer and the other not, but we went to church regularly. Then as a young teenager I decided to completely walk away from my faith. I never stopped believing in Jesus Christ but I no longer lived my life for Him nor did my actions reflect Him. By the grace of a merciful God I survived that period of time of my life. As a young adult I started to think more of what I wanted to do with my life and realized I needed to make some changes and some of those changes included reflecting again on who Jesus was and is and how that was going to effect my life! I started going back to church and soon after I met Sheldon who is now my husband! We were married, we attended church together ,but I was still very much sitting on the fence in regards to my relationship with God! I graduated from university with a nursing degree and we moved down to Corpus Christie, Tx and got involved in an amazing church. I thought we were going south for my career however God took us down there to challenge us and grow us and get us off the fence!! Both my husband and I were baptized down there and I was taught some valuable lessons. God knows sooooo much better than I ever could what is best for my life! And He doesn't like fence sitters! He wants my whole life and heart and to be given to Him all for His Glory!! We were blessed with our first child in Texas and when we moved back we had three more! Plus a couple of four legged critters in there! Thanks be to God for His grace and mercy and the gift of salvation!!!
