Since Wednesday December 14th, Hope Peacock has been in the hospital with different complications to her heart, lungs and brain. People have been praying all over the world, and we continue to ask for those prayers.

Over the last few days, a member of our church has prepared two letters plus an introduction related to the circumstances surrounding the illness of Hope Peacock.
Pastor Trevor and the Elders Council of Harvest Bible Chapel, Calgary have reviewed these documents entitled “Providence” and “Providence and Hope” and want to share them with Harvest attendees, Bearspaw Christian School staff, students, parents of students and the wider audience who have been following the ongoing story of Hope’s battle for life.
These letters speak to both our head and our heart. Many Christians and unbelievers are challenged to understand why “bad things” happen to “good people”, even “God’s little people”. The letter entitled “Providence” clearly articulates, from a clear biblical perspective, how this relates to God’s sovereignty and providence in all matters. The second letter, entitled “Providence and Hope” is a personal application of the issue of God’s Sovereignty to Hope’s situation. It has greatly touched Trevor, Heather and the Elders of the Church. Therefore we wish to share it with you. We thank Kevin for taking the time to prepare these letters which we trust will be a blessing to all who read them.
